A decade after its first refurbishment, ICF Group was honoured to once again be entrusted with the transformation of the Coral Discoverer through a comprehensive Modernisation and Extensive Upgrade Project. This milestone reflects a long-standing partnership built on trust, craftsmanship, and a shared commitment to excellence.

The upgrade spanned multiple areas of the vessel, including bathrooms and staterooms across A, B, and C Decks, as well as key public spaces such as the Main Dining Room, Bridge Deck Lounge, Outdoor Bar, Sun Deck, and Reception. Each space was thoughtfully refreshed to embody contemporary elegance while preserving the ship’s expedition heritage.

The interior design pays tribute to the Coral Discoverer’s roots, featuring Aboriginal-patterned carpets and a colour palette inspired by Australia’s seas and landscapes, with calming blues and warm orange tones. The project concluded with an onboard handover signing ceremony attended by Coral Expeditions’ CEO and ship leadership alongside ICF Group’s management, marking the successful delivery of a transformation defined by collaboration, quality, and shared vision.
