The Vision

MP Wind Archer is Asia’s first Commissioning Service Operations Vessel (CSOV) designed specifically for the offshore wind industry. Developed by Marco Polo Marine, the vessel marks a strategic shift toward renewable energy and is set to operate in the East China Sea. 

Featuring a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and diesel-electric hybrid propulsion, it offers enhanced environmental performance and modern living conditions for crew on long offshore rotations.

The Project

ICF Group was appointed to support the newbuild of MP Wind Archer, Marco Polo Marine’s Commissioning Service Operations Vessel (CSOV), by delivering interior fabrication based on the client’s appointed designer’s specifications. 

Completed within 165 days at Marco Polo Shipyard in Batam, Indonesia, the project was executed in accordance with ABS classification standards, reflecting ICF’s commitment to quality, precision, and timely delivery in high-performance marine environments.

As the marine industry continues to evolve toward sustainability, Windarcher stands as a symbol of innovation, operational efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
